The Garden of Eden
The Garden of Eden is an organically grown food initiative whose mission is to spread awareness about the benefits of consuming organic, locally grown food through education, outreach and hands-on experience for Rutgers University students. Students at the university grow and harvest produce while learning about organic farming techniques and developing educational outreach campaigns to teach members of the campus community about the importance of nutrition and healthy eating.
Now serving a variety of locally grown, organic greens weekly, founder Rebecca Granet is embarking on a new challenge to inspire other college students to create similar initiatives across the country and educate their peers about the benefits of healthy eating.
