Announcing the 2014 Yum-o! Scholarship Winners
The FUND component of Yum-o!’s mission helps kids reach their food-related career goals by funding culinary school scholarships. In partnership with the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF), Yum-o! is pleased to announce 2014’s ten scholarship winners, who will each receive $2,500 scholarships to pursue their culinary education, along with an additional winner of a special $15,000 scholarship.

The Story of 16 Million Hungry Kids, as Told By One
(Washington, DC) — One in five children in the U.S. struggles with hunger. To illustrate the problem of childhood hunger beyond the staggering statistics, Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry® campaign today premiered "The Story of Hungry," a short, animated film depicting the destructive forces of hunger, on the Rachael Ray show. Told through the eyes of a young girl, the film demonstrates the fear and pain hunger causes – and how something as simple rethinking how school meals are served can change a child’s day, week and even his or her future.

Feeding America Receives $160,000 Donation from Rachael Ray’s Yum-o! Organization to Support National Produce and Backpack Programs
